Determining Availability
Hotspots

Hotspot Policy:
Eligible Fair Lawn residents may borrow a hotspot device from the
Library. In order to be eligible, you must:
● Have a valid Fair Lawn Library Card
● Be 18 years old or older
● Be in good standing with the Library
Check-out
● A Government issued photo ID card with a current Fair Lawn
address matching the Library card is required
● Check-out of a hotspot is limited to 4 times per calendar year
per patron
● 14 day loan
● No renewals
● Waiting period of 14 days before requesting a hotspot
● No consecutive borrowing permitted
● One hotspot per household
Returns
● Return to Reference Desk only
● Do not put in book drop or return to another library
● Devices returned in book drop or at another library will result in
a $50 fine
● Must be returned in its original condition
● Late fee - $10 per day
Replacement Costs
● Hotspot - $125
● Case - $15
● USB Cord - $15
● Adapter - $15
Passes Availability
Physical (must be picked up at the library and returned) passes and hotspots are available. Please select the date you would like to pick up the pass or hotspot. The loan period is 2 nights and 3 days for museum passes. Hotspots have a loan period of 14 days.
